Analytical thinking comes easily to many of us, but can also be surprisingly challenging when the techniques, ideas, and subject matter is unfamiliar. To help ease us into this type of thinking, we will use familiar objects and spaces as the focus and introduction to analytical methods of drawing, diagramming, and notation. I have developed a set of analytical drawings that study a familiar, yet unknown object and its concomitant space. My object is a camera tripod.
